UNDERPAYING

Have you heard of someone being underpaid?
I've heard of a particular business nearby who pays their staff at least 1/3 the recommended wage.
These workers are so anxious for work, that they accept the terms of employment.
The other side of this, is that they are paid in cash so that now bookwork is involved.
Meanwhile, the rest of us are doing the honest [well I hope you the reader are] thing and having our earnings declared to the taxation department.
This post was bought on by the factor that contractors from a southern state are setting themselves up here in Queensland and Underpaying their staff and subcontractors.
If you are doing it the honest way, then get onto your local member and complain. Do this to both your State and Federal Member and if you get a reply from both then see if they match. If they don't then don't vote for that candidate at their next election.
If you know of a business who is paying their staff "Cash in Hand' or Underpaying their staff. Report them to the relevant authority.
If you are doing it honestly, then you are paying your proper taxes and these people are rorting you!
